I think the Banks was a dealer option. Sold a 94 Tahoe 6.5 TD to a guy from Norway, flew to Iowa, I picked him up in Des Moines, he drove it to Cal and shipped it home. I'd love to find a 6.2 4x4 slow and steady get's me where I need to go.

First year or 2 of 6.5 had mechanical injector pump, 94 had electronic and some reliability issues. 18 mpg was driving normal. Mine previous owner was on first name basis with dealer mechanics.
