Remember the days of the diesel Chevette? I do. It was considered slow when everything else, by modern standards, was pretty slow. If you're as slow as a diesel Chevette, I'll call that slow. If you can get up to 60 in under 20 seconds - which I pretty much never do in any case - I'll call it acceptable.
