The template included with the tool is actually not quite right. It's a bit too shallow.
My recommendation is to use this tool:
Image Overlay Utility
And this template:
Then, when you have them overlayed, hit the "printscreen" key on your keyboard, open MSPaint, and paste, and it should paste a shot of your screen.
