Humm... You say you live in Williamsburg, Virginia. I look at a map, and that looks like northeast to me. Maybe on the southern edge of the northeast, but still northeast.
And for the record, I've said where I live (northwestern part of Nevada) many times. Just a) don't see the need to have it on every post; and b) can't figure out how to describe it succinctly, as I don't live in a distinct town, and refuse to think of myself as belonging with the nearest city of any size. Lat/long, maybe?
As for the reasonable discussion, thought that's what I was doing by pointing out that while you folks are lucky enough to have some decent winter weather, much of the country is in fact suffering from heat & drought. So why not appreciate your good fortune, and go skiing or something?
