Even funnier,Breer was the guy behind the Chrysler Airflow,who in 1934,hired a famous race car driver, to drive a 1933 Chyrsler DeSoto ,across the U.S."backwards" as a publicity stunt for the debut of the new "Streamlined" Airflow.They had found that the car would go faster and get better mpg backwards,and they hoped the stunt might "educate" the public about auto styling and aerodynamics.Breer also aero-modded the Airflow.I'll have that data in an up- coming case study.
