First things first, how do we get a rear engined car put power to front wheels?

I know an engine swap would be step one. And yes this is very impractical, but if I'm right, would be something really cool. I could definately retool the interior and as a bonus it would already have suicide doors .. LOL
If you're not aware of the Race Taxi (>>>> welcome at race-taxi.ch <<<<), it's obstensibly a '62 VW bus with a 911 engine. However, it's just the 62 body shell on top of a roll cage on top of a Vanagon floor pan (with Porsche suspension).

Basically, you'd have to do the same thing with the 928-- graft the body onto a workable mid/rear engine pan and drivetrain, or fab a tube-frame!

Actually, now that I think of it, you could probably base this whole thing on a sandrail frame, and make it Porsche, VW, or even Subaru powered, as they all lend themselves to bizarro drivetrain layouts. A tube frame also lends itself to being completely custom, rather than trying to shoehorn muliple cars together.

Ok, so the Race Taxi was kind of a weird aside, but it's still really awesome. Watch the videos.
