The office commute is east there, west back. I'm not sure what the total elevation change is, but it's probably close to zero. I'll check with my phone GPS tomorrow. However, my guess is that the differences in MPG in each direction have more to do with the hills being more steep on their west sides, and the placement of traffic lights.
