Cut the red wire, that fixed bridget. Oddly all the important lights still work. Hav you given any thought to an alternator delete switch? Won't help the fuse issue but may help mileage. I'm going to disconnet the electric fuel pump and if the mechanical pump can feed the engine i may try it.
