Hmmm, with respect, here goes...
A vehicle manufacturer will not or minimize the ability of the common person to F-UP... while driving their vehicles! It is more like covering your a_s...
If manufacturers installed "STUFF" that WE do use in our cars, they would get:
1. sued
2. loose customers due to damage/replacement costs
3. attractiveness/ lack of it?
4. whatever else...
So "OPTIMUM SIZE"? For regular folks, small and many times quite useless,
just good enough for it to be there but just enough...
