Rebuilt used to mean remanufactured to new specs. Calling a 10 year old battery pack rebuilt does not have the same meaning as a rebuilt engine or transmission, or any other part like alternators or starters, which is why no one matches the original warranty on "rebuilt" battery packs as every one of them would fail under those warranty terms.
