PS: I would not call this aerodynamic either as there is still so much more room for improvement or even good fuel consumption figures as there are things also mechanically that could be done.
Renault's 1987 V.I.R.A.G.E. achieved Cd 0.29 with the extended boat tail.

Also in 1987 they had their own 'BIONIC/Boxfish' Vesta II,Cd 0.187 and 100+ mpg.

The 1985 Renault ORPHEE concept achieved Cd 0.129 and they predicted that they'd be at Cd 0.10 within a decade.
I feel like they are quite capable of low drag.
