The 'Template' suggests that the Insight's roofline is a tiny bit too aggressive,and prone to separation.
The smoke flow image from HONDA also suggests the same thing.
NOTE: If the car is not ballasted,with weight in the front seats,its body inclination may not represent what it will be when 'occupied' by the driver and passenger.If so,the flow would be more favorable.We'd need to get one in the wind tunnel ourselves,and check this.
