I hope you don't get distracted by gasoline mixes, or other relatively minor possibilities next to your big issues arising from theswap itself. Here in Cali I bet I burn E10 all year. I think it is required. All the pumps assume it. My car runs very well, thanks. Your bigger problem is that you currently have a vtec-e engine and a non-vtec-e engine management computer. Several key functions and sensors on your vtec-e are not even plugged-in. Fixing these should be your first priority. Good luck!

EDIT: for example, the hardware for variable valve timing is there but the computer has no idea how to manage it, so what is happening to your valve timing when you hit the throttle?
