Cover ups are inherent of people running the government not wanting to do their job properly. I don't see how the government could have created this gas leak.

If the EPA is so under funded you would think they would have incentive to find the gas leak and fine the company that is responsible out of existence.

This isn't a science and discovery problem, unless its naturally occurring.
If its man made then its an environmental problem that can be fixed by use of government force through shut downs and fines.

The only potential down side to finding out that its natural is it could have been happening for thousands if not millions of years and then the only conclusion you are left with is that methane is not nearly as bad for the environment as what global warming alarmist would have you believe.
