Thanks for the idea, I picked up a pair of accent LED lights at PepBoys yesterday from the "rice" section. Took the housings apart and pulled out the LEDs. I think I can double stick tape them to the inside of the housing and illuminate it enough. Inside needs to cleaned up, looks like it was sitting in water on the 20in/hg side becuase it's rusty right there. Figured I'd paint it white of chrome for more reflection and better light.
Only problem with all this is that I was also looking around for places to mount the gauge and I just can't find a location I like. I did find a spot I like for my old gauge though so I will probably be mounting the "old" one soon and keep the swap meet grab as an "Eco-relic"
