Good to see the NedCar Access prototype again
850 kg mostly aluminium, good collision safety, flappy paddles, boasted a 4.7 l/100 km economy... not bad for a 1995 mini MPV...?
This could have been the Mitsubishi Space star, but Mitsubishi (participating in NedCar at the time) decided on a more conventional design.
In retrospect, what a miss.
Audi came up with a similar design in 1999: the
A2.
That web page is very much 1995 too
