It's self defeating. Once you use your bike to reduce your ballistic coefficient,
your fat burning will also be reduced, allowing your bc to revert back..
If the bc stabilizes at a healthy weight, you got lucky!

My plan to get better aero this summer, is to change my cargo carrier gear..

The big side-bag has a lot of drag.. (good for getting a work out).
Whereas the rear mount smaller bag is kinda like a boat-tail..
All I have to do is steal the bag off my wife's bike!

The only thing I don't like is my right ankle hitting the boat-tail bag when mounting..
