I have been thinking of doing this ever since I first saw an early Insight.
I believe that you will need to follow the insights lines to get the desired effects, start up higher just below the top of wheel arch.
I also believe that a semi flexible plastic would be more durable.
Either way I can't wait to see your results, goodonya for running where us mere mortals fear to tread.
