Found the B mpg display today, thanks Metro, 54.8 MPG since built. It's easy without the keyless start option. Ign on, go to distance to empty, hold button down until it switches to B. Then push button normally to scroll to avg mpg reading. Just don't reset it if you want to keep a life time reading.

I actually like the auto reset on mpg A. I can see how variations in technique, especially during warmup, affect the mpg display. I had it up to 50 today within 3.5 miles of leaving the house from a cold engine, first drive today. I used to reset the Fiesta before the first startup daily. Later I reset it more often to checkout my technique for specific portions of my drives.
