I would imagine the Sentra but I will never know, if your are talking top speed. 300 pounds and 35 more HP.
The only time I really dogged either car was the Sentra when I drove it home for the first time, missing below 2k rpm, then it lost a plug a mile before I got home.

The Mirage's 0-60 time is around 11 - 12 seconds with the manual, depending on the source.
It'll smoke a Metro.

I never floored the Sentra for the sole purpose of measuring but 8-9 seconds seems about right. Maybe before I sell it, but then I might tear something up. The 410 gear in my 59 vette lasted a week, steering box went and I drove it to work when it would only turn right. To turn left ,drive through the intersection, stop, back up turning right, straighten the wheels. Drive straight through the same intersection. You just made a left turn in a car that won't turn left LOOOL.

Did a semi typical "meet the wife" lunch. This is a route where I usually take the bike, right past Colonial Williamsburg on route 60. Out past 199 still on old US60, to the New York Deli, just west of 199, about 10 miles. Probably 10 to 15 lights each way if you take certain routes, speeds 25 to 45with a short stretch of 55 coming back. By the time I got back home it was 56.6 mpg. It should be my worst mpg for any drive of that distance or less without running ac.
That will get me up on the gas car listings.

Found the B mpg display today, thanks Metro, 54.8 MPG since built. It's easy without the keyless start option. Ign on, go to distance to empty, hold button down until it switches to B. Then push button normally to scroll to avg mpg reading. Just don't reset it if you want to keep a life time reading.
I actually like the auto reset on mpg A. I can see how variations in technique, especially during warmup, affect the mpg display. I had it up to 50 today within 3.5 miles of leaving the house from a cold engine, first drive today. I used to reset the Fiesta before the first startup daily. Later I reset it more often to checkout my technique for specific portions of my drives.
550 miles.

I do too but resetting during a trip can be a pain sometimes.
B on my car is tank AVG and A is current trip. Mrs A's Octavia has A-D : tank, trip, since reset, since ever.

1st gen Insight wins the factory gauge count with 5: instant (graphical), and four independently resettable numeric gauges (lifetime, trip A, trip B and 'segment' ... essentially trip C). A car built by nerds for nerds!

Driving the Insight with the instant display taught me that you can very gradually accelerate with almost no change in fuel mileage then coast and peg the gauge at 150 mpg, and that was with a CVT. Over 30k miles my average was right at 68 mpg in the Insight.
I used that technique with my son in law to get 95 mpg on a stretch of road well suited to extended coasting, long pulse up hill at 55mpg, followed by an equal length glide with the gauge pegged at 150 MPG.
This Mirage will pull high mpg at much lower average speeds that my typical 40 mph average. IT is so crazy to INCREASE your average mpg while crawling along on I64 west, never close to 4th gear, pulsing in 3rd from 1k rpm, the coasting and coasting, seems like perpetual motion.
For those in the financial position to even consider a new car, JUST DRIVE ONE and judge for yourself. Remember peak torque is at 4k rpm, shifting at that point will give you very decent acceleration while still achieving excellent economy.
Or just wait a couple of years and buy one used, BUT YOU CAN'T HAVE MINE.
