OK, but on that basis then the current Mac operating system (based on Unix) is little more than a 60s style serial green screen terminal with a little bit of graphical fluff added for the fanbois

When I first read this I was reminded of the so called seminal work on computers - in the begining was the command prompt.

Then I remembered the guy who wrote that has since switched to using a Mac.

I'm not opening the OS wars - I like all of them
