Folks who use peoples deaths to further their financial goals are beyond the scummiest of politicians.

You cannot prove anything you have asserted. You are a fearmonger, with a monetary interest.

That is textbook political scumbaggary.
I haven't talked about any fear of anything. You are the one talking about evil robots taking over the world. I just want a car that will drive me where I want to go without me doing it. I don't care if it's safer, that is just a nice byproduct. My "rash" of accidents comment was in response to the one directly above mine that said ,"The recent rash of commuter train accidents should remind us that even good systems are not perfect."
All of those train accidents were human error and would have been prevented by the new train speed control and auto stop devices. I ascertain they were human error because there was no other possibility. The CA one was deemed to be a texting engineer, and the Phili one was going over 100 mph into a 50 mph curve and although the positive train control was installed on that train it hadn't been turned on because they wanted to test it more. Had it been turned on, that would have been a good test, nothing worse could have happened for sure! My 777 comment was about the SFO crash were the plane was doing everything it could not to crash, but was overridden by the pilots. Robot would have landed the plane perfectly. Boeing builds the planes this way, that a pilot can do whatever they want, so maybe they didn't have to fight the robot, just keep silencing the alarms and pulling on the controls. An Airbus give more control to the computer but a pilot can still fight to do things outside normal parameters.

I have no monetary or political agenda in this. I'm an 11 year navy nuke veteran and now I deliver mail in Montana for the post office. I'm quite libertarian with conservative values. Father of 2, married to my wife for 26 years. Just a normal Joe, you may be the first person ever to call me a scumbag. I would think that reflects more on you then it does me but who knows.

I hope you anger turns around, the world is too beautiful to go about you life mad at mailmen from Montana who like automation. Like Yoda says, "Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate.. to suffering."
