What other changes are being made, with vs. without?

What I would really like to see would be tests back-to-back without human intervention, some round trips on flat, level road at moderate speed, long enough to get some solid data, and with the speed maintained by the cruise control.

The cruise control takes out the human factor. Just with a little careful manipulation I can radically alter my car's fuel consumption to the good or bad, and it doesn't matter if there are magnets under the hood, in my pants or even in a big box in the trunk with a hundred pounds of other magnets. The cruise control will attempt to rigidly adhere to a specified speed and can be counted on to make essentially the same adjustments over each run to maintain that speed. Test THAT way and post your findings.

Your results with your Altima aren't especially noteworthy compared to others in the Ecomodder garage. In fact one Altima - a year older than yours I might add - consistently posted better numbers. Even his worst record was better than your best, and while he admitted that he ran a partial grille block most of the time, he also laid the credit for most of his results at the door of driving style. So while it is possible (I say that in the interest of scientific accuracy, but I give it little credence) that the magnets are having some positive effect, I say it is far more likely that you, having the expectation of a result, are actually effecting the result by your own, probably unconscious, actions.
