Well, that previous record lasted no time at all! I absolutely shattered it tonight with this gem.

A full 2.6 mpg better than the meet! This was a 32 mile drive through 4 towns. 3 stop signs and 8 stoplights along the way home. I stopped at all signs and hit just 2 stoplights

If I could have gotten through a stoplight, there is no doubt that I would have cracked 60 mpg!

Tank mpg sits at 51.8, let's see if I can keep it there...

Edit: Almost forgot to mention what got me there. DWL, DWB, EOnC, and keeping my speed around 40 mph. I get ~65 mpg at 40, so it racks up quick.

I did the math and I have saved right at $50 this month compared to what I used to get in FE

Spent $140 the past month in fuel. Averaging 46 mpg, compared to 34 mpg of yesteryear. 46/34 = 1.353. 140 x 1.353 = 189.41.

189.41 - 140 = 49.41
