Interesting I hope I will have descent luck at it. I think from the looks of it the Camaro scoop is probably a bit wider than the one you were using in the pics. I am not sure if recessing it will make much difference other than helping aero. Some fans positioned properly would probably also help draw the hot air in the vents of the scoop as well. This will be something fun to play with and tweak over time.
