Here ya go...

Why not use car A/C components? Get a 12v motor to spin the compressor.

LOL I don't know what I am doing at this point Just doing a lot of brainstorming at the moment. If I were to try to use the portable fridge I would need a good fan and that is about it. Not sure it would cool down the cabin enough however but it would be a good experiment. Either way I can use the portable freezer as I do a lot of camping. This would be a less invasive potential than using a window AC unit and easier to take out if it does not work.

I have thought about this also but I am going for something that can easily be taken out and not permanent. here in the Pacific Northwest we really only need AC for like 3 months of the year. I have a friend that builds these AC units powered with modified electric motors so I can always go this route. Just trying to figure something out that is more cost effective and not permanent first. In the end if my ideas don't work out I may end up going the electric motor route.

There is window overload for a car the size of the Centurion in my opinion.

I will use scoops for not only the cabin venting but also the AC rear hatch venting. The Roof hatch vent will be from a Camaro SS Hood flipped so that it works as an exhaust rather than a scoop. This will be positioned toward the rear window break and the roof in a way that is streamlined so it smoothly transitions without bulging like in a hood scoop. There are two different sizes for the Camaro SS hood scoop. The mini size scoop is what I will be using and it is 30" long and 18" wide. This is big enough to properly vent the AC and fill in the rear hatch window void. I will be using an Kubota Orange decal like the decals used in the second and third pictures. The base color of the car will be black with Kubota Orange and white for details.

The side vents will help to vent the interior cabin space which is also needed. I am not set on which ones I will be using for this just yet as they do not need to be all that big. So still searching for these at the moment.

So that is the plan so far to deal with the air conditioner exhaust heat
Some time ago I was playing around with reversing a scoop as a vent. It was mounted on the surface (not recessed as you will likely do). I really didn't have good luck in the proof-of-concept with this particular trial.

I think you may have better luck with the way you are proposing to use the Camaro type.

Hey CJ,

Interesting I hope I will have descent luck at it. I think from the looks of it the Camaro scoop is probably a bit wider than the one you were using in the pics. I am not sure if recessing it will make much difference other than helping aero. Some fans positioned properly would probably also help draw the hot air in the vents of the scoop as well. This will be something fun to play with and tweak over time.

I found some interesting side scoops used on Mustangs that might work well with the Centurion.

Another detail I liked was the fact that they were flush mounted. I also like the flush mounted gas tank cap.

Depending on how you vent its flow through the cabin, it might provide some decent cooling.

I would pay quite a bit of money if someone could find a 12v motor powerful enough to drive the insights compressor, and somehow mount it. Never going to happen though.

What would be enough power to drive the Insight's compressor? Couldn't you eventually work around to use the Prius' compressor which is already electric-driven? You could consider to use the compressor of some all-electric camping A/C, since some can run on both 12V AC and 110V DC.

Prius is a 240v, and idk, that's why I'm asking.
