DeeJaaa, I seem to need cosmoline alot and finding it was frusterating me to no end so the idea of homemade cosmoline was kind of an act of desperation. After replacing the bottom 4 inches of graham crackers from my 61 Beetle I blasted the whole car with coal slag and sprayed cold galvanizing spray on the floor pan areas. Then I used self etching primer, paint, rattle can rubberized bed liner and finally paint, again, just to be sure rock chips wouldn't penetrate the layers
