It was warm. I did it as soon as I got home from work.
All the plugs were out, the throttle was at WOT while cranking.
I don't have access to another compression tester, but I've used this one many times.
I'm sure it'll keep kicking for a while. I'm in no hurry, but I would like to get it fixed. As it turns out, the parts for a re-ring rebuild are pretty cheap.
Some reading on geometroforum says it could just be burnt valves.
