I test-fit the tranny/motor into the car to see where the tailshaft comes to.

The good news is that I won't have to drill a hole in the frame. (Might have to trim a tad off the bottom though.)

The bad news is that I won't be able to turn left!!!




The photo shows where the tailshaft ends up and the steering pretty much all the way to the left.

The other thing is that there is still going to be a one-inch spacer between the mounting plate and motor, which will put the tailshaft an additional one inch the wrong way!
