Has anyone had any experience with the "Smart Battery" brand, of Lithium Ion batteries? They are supposed to be a "Direct Replacement" for Lead Acid batteries in Vehicles and other uses. With built in charge controllers they are supposed to "Self Regulate" the charging and safety of the individual cells within their case. They look pretty good, although Expensive, 12volt, 50 Amp/Hour is $690.00. I am in need of a battery bank for a Golf Cart type vehicle, and at 15 Lbs. ea. these are ideal.
