How do your non-hypermiling family and friends react?

First, makes me glad I have 3 brothers and no sister.

Youngest brother (#4);

Averages 25 mpg in his Tacoma (manual)work truck. Also owns a Prius.

Next youngest (#3);

Drives a Pathfinder and gets atrocious mileage, retired govt welder, house paid for, buys cheap (or is given) cars and drives them until they can not be driven anymore.

Oldest, drives junk just like #3 and he can't drive worth crap.

Parents:
Both drive Cadillacs and compete for best mileage. I think their best was 33 mpg.
