Darcane,

I actually have a set of universal joints, but I just may need a short socket. The electrical tape is a good idea, I tried using a u-joint and it just pivoted all of the way to one side. My other concern was if there was enough of a gap for the extension.

I bought these wobble socket extensions from Harbor Freight for $15:

All that I needed to do was put the socket on the bolt, reaching in with one finger from each side, reach the wobble extension through, lock it in without knocking the socket off of the bolt, and then remove and retrieve the socket once I tightened the bolt!

Once I cleaned the lock-tite out of the hole, the bolt went in easily enough, but I wish that I had picked up a wire brush to clean out the threads.

Thanks everybody for your help!

My ex insisted that the Quick Valve leaked and acted upset when I asked if it was tightened fully. A mechanic said that it was not leaking, oil was just dripping onto it, but I am going to put the old bolt in. New oil and filter, new coolant, I just need to tighten a few things and hopefully the car is good to go!
