The Robin had its engine up front, which means most of your weight is up there. The Chinese threes have the engine over the rear axle. Which helps... unless you have a very heavy driver up front. If there's one thing that will convince you to take a diet, it's having a trike lean precariously to the side while you're driving.

I've always wanted to drive a Bajaj auto-rickshaw. We get the Piaggio versions here... called the A.P.E. Very interesting little things. 400cc diesel. You don't get five doors and a blower, as with the Chinese, but I'd rather put my money in an Indian diesel than a Chinese thumper any day.
