1) Who exactly is the "we" here? Last I checked, the Syrians &c were fignting all on their own.
2) If you bother to look, I think you'll find that most armies in the region wear tan/brown, to match with the sand. That is, when they're official armies with uniforms, and not just a bunch of jihadists.
