A quick and simple mock up with cardboard. The cardboard piece is 31" long and the front edge sits right at the vertical pivot point. The back end of the wheel pant extends 9" past the rear of Dark Aero.
I will have to taper trim the rear portion so it will clear the bottom of the sides and rear while articulating. I will have to taper the bottom edge to clear driveways and speed bumps. The rear part will be fully enclosed. The nose cone will be a separate attachment piece. There will be attachment brackets fer the wheel pant to easily bolt on to. I will be using the data I learned from the previous attempts/tail cone setup fer clearance. I might even apply a skid plate fer the bottom, too!
