I shot this solo, with a conventional tripod for the longer shots, and a tiny flex tripod for the ground level shots.

There's minimal overspray on the headlights. Couldn't find a roll of masking tape! I'll be buffing them out before I dip the car again.

Lots of crazy cool options out there for resin/fabric work these days. The sheet-release stuff is pricey. I've thought about adding a layer of carbon/kelvar over the top, after everything's smoothed out.

Back in the 60s, (probably) Mechanix Illustrated magazine ran a story about squeegeeing resin out under sheet Mylar plastic, that just peels off after the resin cures. I don't use the stuff (fiberglass) myself, but it seems likely to save a lot of sanding.
