Veen's FIT - 2009 Honda FIT Sport M/T

This thread is to log and discuss modifications to my '09 Honda FIT Sport in all it's baby blue glory...

Similar to Gandolph, I want all my mods to be [mostly] reversible. If I have to drill a few holes in the dash, or under the car, as long as they are finished cleanly, and look mostly stock, I'll let it go.

I don't necessarily plan to sell the car, but I'd like to leave the option open. And with NH being an inspection state, I don't need extra scrutiny on my car every year.

The nerd in me want's to ABA test all these Mod's as I go along. The hard part is going to be finding some flat, straight, road in NH. I'll post test results, assuming I do them, for all mods.

Completed Mod's to date
  • Oil Change - Synthetic high mileage 5w-20, might user thinner next time
  • A/C on defog delete
  • Max Sidewall Pressure
  • Ultraguage mount

Mod's this year (hopefully)
  • DRL delete
  • Block heater install
  • Rear spoiler delete - I've heard the FIT spoiler is worse than nothing, ABA test to verify
  • Partial Grill Block
  • Antenna delete
  • Additional 12V accessory outlet - not really ecomod but hey

Future Mod's
  • Engine Kill switch
  • Passenger side mirror delete -
  • Fog Light covers
  • Belly Pan - at least under engine, would be nice to do it all
  • Front Air Dam
  • Rear wheel skirts
  • Kammback or other "boat tail" - I want to keep the ability to but bikes or a hitch rack on the back. I'll reuse the rear spoiler mount points to mount something
