Yeah, they kept expanding it a few inches every 2 years. Each time they did a little more work on the underside aerodynamics so that the mileage wasn't affected. Just take a look under a 2003 and compare it to the 2009. The 2009 has all sorts of aero mods, but the 2003 has nothing. The 2009 model has reduced mileage, compared to previous years, however.
