Buy a used PCX or CBR250R and ride it for a while. The Grom is a fun little toy for riding around a campus town. You are not going to want to take it on any trips. If you are going to ride on super highways, you will need the CBR250R. Or a Forza300. The PCX tops out at 66 mph.
I couldn't agree more. My friend with a Grom mentioned that he doesn't ride his Grom in 55MPH roads because people are doing 60mph and any uphill is a strugle at that speed, too slow. He tops out at 64 in the flats. You can do long trips on it, it will just take time.
