The other thing that could be happening is some parts of load while in lean burn will have poor BSFC numbers and the engine becomes less efficient then if it was at stioch. In a N/A engine the window for great lean burn BSFC is a lot smaller then when running a boost engine. On my Insight I have noticed this verses my Talon. The Talon has a much bigger window and is a lot easier to keep in efficient lean burn. So this still could become a driving learning curve more then anything. To really know whats going on you will need a way to read A/F and injector pulse width or a MpGuino.

BabyDiesel... I read this to mean that you should add a turbo.
