The last paying job I had (ever?) was at a computer recycling startup called, eventually, Nextstep Recycling. Because it was so successful (and hired the capable-challenged) the local Goodwill opened a competing store that was separate but adjacent to a Goodwill Superstore. Last time I was in they had closed the separate entrance and knocked a hole in the wall in between. Goodwill is upscale from Nextstep, but downtown next to the University, there's Mactonic. They deal strictly in late model Apple laptops.
