The Beetle got a Tapeee`

I like the snap-to protractors in Sketchup, but it has problems exporting .obj in the free version.

The modelling was done in Wings3D, the New Beetle was a freeby and the render was done in Poser 7 (which I got at Goodwill for $2).

I recently read that used AutoCad licenses can be purchased on ebay from architects retiring or upgrading.

The last paying job I had (ever?) was at a computer recycling startup called, eventually, Nextstep Recycling. Because it was so successful (and hired the capable-challenged) the local Goodwill opened a competing store that was separate but adjacent to a Goodwill Superstore. Last time I was in they had closed the separate entrance and knocked a hole in the wall in between. Goodwill is upscale from Nextstep, but downtown next to the University, there's Mactonic. They deal strictly in late model Apple laptops.
