Making a 3-wheel "car" with 2 seats (either tandem like the Elio or side-by-side) and selling it for $6800 doesn't seem impossible at all, but the project guidelines should be clear since day one, and Elio seems to have failed on that matter. Now that it seems to be finally ready for production run, there is no excuse for more delays, though the $6800 price became too unrealistic at this point.
