I try to make it a habit to include avg speed with my MPG results so people can consider the numbers in context.

I often have the experience where people get excited to learn what fuel economy my car can get, but when I tell them the average mph that achieved those numbers, their excitement evaporates because it's not a speed they'd consider driving at.
