Since I have worked for the government I can safely say the only consistency you will find is incompetence and stupidity at all ranks, all levels and in all departments.

I will keep the seats from my suburban.
I was planning on taking them out, burning them and recycling the steel.
Now I will just take them out and stash them in the shed.
