The de-icing treatment doesn't corrode cars nearly as much as sea salt (NaCl) does to a car. IMO, living near the coast is probably worse for your car than Denver's road treatments are.

And I don't expect to recoup the cost of the car in gas. I just want to post some big numbers in something a bit newer!
