There is nothing worse than being ate up... eaten up... that...
I once saw a very short woman park a very large truck. She opened her door, I saw her head poke up, and then she disappeared as she dropped to the ground.
She needed to jump out of the truck.
As for video cameras, it is easy for law enforcement to see if you have side mirrors, but I do not know how they would be able to verify that you had fully operational cameras, were not using the monitor for an iPod stand, etc.
Not that people would be more likely to use cameras than mirrors...
