Yes ambient temp can make a big difference on voltage. On my old pack that I had to charge once a month, if I didn't keep the inside of the car above 90F while charging, I couldn't get the pack to charge enough as the voltage would lock at 180v and throw a code. If I kept it 90F, it would top put at 177v and I wouldn't throw a code.
