Even responsible drivers cause accidents. Furthermore, we don't need survival of the fittest to select out all bad drivers considering it isn't a skill that will be relevant for much longer. The people it selects out may have many positive attributes to contribute to family, friends, and community.

Another problem is that due to adverse selection, the worst drivers are likely to be the ones selecting the larger vehicles. This would be an unnatural selection since those with the poor skills are the ones surviving while the responsible drivers parish.
