Heated Hoodie = Reduced Need for Winter Warm-Up/Idle?

The older I get, the less tolerance I have for cold temperatures. I've been testing a Milwaukee Tools heated hoodie for the past few weeks. It's quickly become my favorite sweatshirt. It's like a heated seat that goes wherever you go.

I've been extremely fortunate to do the work-at-home thing, but that may change soon. I haven't had to deal with a daily rush hour commute in cold weather since the late nineties. Not really looking forward to falling back into the rat race, but there are too many bills to pay.

No one likes to sit in a cold car. I'm wondering how much daily warm-up/idle time could be eliminated by wearing the hoodie on the coldest days. :/

I love heated seats, but I've never owned a vehicle equipped with them. I always thought heated steering wheels were goofy, until I drove a car with a heated wheel, on a cold day. Maybe a set of heated gloves will be next …
